 New Zealand. Left 1897.
Merton College, Oxford. Gazetted to the 1st Dragoon Guards, 1902. Resigned, 1904.
 Lived in New Zealand. 6th New Zealand Mounted Rifles. Major. Died at Alexandria, 25 December 1915,
 of wounds received on the eve of the evacuation of Gallipoli.
